16. July – 16. August, 2026
THE QUIET SPACE
The Tresor Foundation is proud to announce the return of The Quiet Space, opening inside the monumental concrete halls of Kraftwerk Berlin from 16th July to 16th August 2026. Following last year’s debut, which welcomed over 11,000 visitors, this summer’s edition expands into a full one-month sanctuary dedicated to mental decompression, rest, and collective wellbeing.
Open daily from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Tuesday through Sunday; closed on Monday), The Quiet Space provides a radical escape from the constant noise and digital acceleration of modern city life. The former power plant will be transformed into a raw, peaceful sanctuary designed to soothe the nervous system through its already existing spatial design and acoustic stillness.
To protect the room’s atmosphere, visitors are kindly invited to step away from their screens. The space encourages you to keep your phone in your pocket. It allows no camera equipment and bans commercial photography. Instead, guests are encouraged to prioritise the moment over the memory, using the time to simply sit, breathe, think, or sketch.
The 2026 edition also continues its unique collaboration with neuroscientific research. By studying the physical and emotional impact of the space on visitors, the project aims to gather data on how silence, community, and industrial architecture can be used to lower stress and support mental health in urban areas.
16th July – 16th August 2026 (Tuesday – Sunday) 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
